Ascendant in Gemini in Medical Astrology

You possess a rather nervous temperament. You like to be on the go and can be very restless. Because you like to keep mentally active and mental stimulation is important to your sense of wellbeing, you tend to get bored easily, and for this reason can sometimes have many different projects on the go at once. This can result in spreading yourself too thin. You can run yourself down by not taking care of yourself. You cannot live on fresh air alone. Stress related illnesses that may come your way, include: tuberculosis, asthma, shoulder problems, colds and flu, bronchitis, and problems that affect the nervous system. A healthy diet and more awareness of your physical body can greatly assist in overcoming many of these problems.

Make time for relaxation; not just physically, but also learn to switch off your mind as well. Meditation is a good way to do this, though you may find it almost impossible to sit still for that long and find the process quite boring. Something like Tai Chi or yoga would be a good substitute. Try regular walking or jogging, or racquet or team sports where there is some social interaction. Find a physical activity that gets you in touch with your body, but still allows you to use your mind. Whatever the method, rest your active mind from time to time and get in touch with your feelings too.

You are highly adaptable and can manage the rapid pace of living very effectively. You tend to have wiry, thin body and a nervous, quick way of moving about. However, you do use up a great deal of nervous energy and so it is important to make sure you replenish your body’s nutrients. Get plenty of B-group vitamins.

Aromatherapy oils and herbs that are especially healing for lung conditions, colds and flu are: Eucalyptus, Peppermint, Lavender, Juniper, Marjoram, Cedar Wood and Tea Tree.
