Sagittarius Sun Aries Rising

Happy-Go-Lucky Sagittarius with a bright eyed, bushy tailed Aries personality: the two brightest smiles in the zodiac! There’s apt to be a charming physical appearance here and a trustworthy childlike honesty. What’s not to like about a forthright, nothing to hide, “show and tell” attitude? Sagittarius with Action Aries rising usually creates an interest in sports and sometimes these Sagittarians are superb athletes. But even if they’re not on the playing field, there’s a bit of the agile athlete in the way they go about their day. They’re not easy to keep up with! However, though their anxious demeanor keeps them racing against the clock, their honest, inspiring, and completely disarming nature makes them a joy to be around.

Still, an “early bird catches the worm” Aries personality can over stimulate Sagittarius, resulting in half-cocked and clueless leaps and bounds. Staying centered, focused, and deliberate can be a real challenge for this combination. Sagittarians born early afternoon need to avoid jumping to conclusions and putting their foot in their mouth. Slowing down long enough to let people make their point is a necessary strategy here. Aries almost always brings impatience, and with a “raring to go” Sagittarius ego there’s never any time to waste. They literally feel sinful for sitting down to relax. Go figure! But there’s never a rude motive here. When they show up early in the waiting room, to avoid being a bother they’ll simply wander off a bit willy-nilly down the hallway to find something interesting—and eventually someone will need to go fetch them. So it’s important for these Sagittarians to be realistic in their planning and scheduling. They try to cram too much into any given time slot, attempting to be all things to all people. They’re too optimistic about how much they can get done, so they exaggerate the possibilities. Of course, this is merely a reflection of their boundless zest and zeal, but they do themselves and others a disservice when they spread themselves too thin. Forgetting that Rome wasn’t built in a day, they end up keeping people waiting.
