When Happy-Go-Lucky Sagittarius, the Wild Thing, embellishes the adventurous Aries ego with inspiration and winning ways, the result is a live wire with an encouraging word, who’s a lot of fun to be around. Arians with Sagittarius rising are diversified. They’ll start a business and make a success of it, but will soon feel the urge to bound downrange to see what’s new and interesting. They’re sometimes military personnel whose Aries breeds a warrior and whose Sagittarius carries them to foreign lands. They’re the civil servants who climb the political ladder, or the attorneys who rise to judgeship. They’re the troubleshooters who quickly put things in order, then hurriedly move along to the next pressing problem. Give these people an office with no windows, and you’ll drive them stir crazy. They enjoy the outdoors, and since Aries the Ram and Sagittarius the equestrian Archer are both hoofed animals, they’re comfortable in the role of the rancher. They love their wide open spaces!
Without moderation, however, these Arians can perpetuate a lot of superfluous and even reckless behavior. Their Aries egotism assures their off-the-wall Wild Thing that they look marvelous in outrageous clothing, and their Aries impulsiveness can’t wait to saddle up and move along. So exotic, or gaudy, or even clownish—they’re off and running, and making quite a spectacle of themselves. And they’re so full of Pied Piper promise and inspiration that everyone wants to follow.
